What does the bible say about singing?
At Same Boat Music we LOVE singing, that’s what we’re all about! We know the power of a song to change peoples lives, because we have seen it. We’ve seen people moved to tears and people moved to dancing. We’ve seen a child who had barely spoken in school, sing a solo in front of an entire assembly.
Amazing things happen when people sing, but what does the Bible say about singing?
Sing in the good times!
Psalm 95
1 Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.

Sing in the not so good times
Acts 16
25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.
1 Samuel 16
23 Whenever the spirit from God came on Saul, David would take up his lyre and play. Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him.
